Starting to come together. Sheet rock went in this weekend and they
started taping on Tuesday. Beginning to look like we have rooms!
Front door installed. Had to wait for upper transom to be built. Tony found
this door at his material supplier, Guy C Lee lumber over in Shallotte. It was
buried upstairs under lots of other stuff. Exactly what we were looking for
and fits perfectly.
Looking from kitchen into great room to outside deck. Nice view (right image)

Below is kitchen counter area looking out back.
Sort of composite to show great room and  fireplace. Donald
Gardner, according to our neighbor, likes to build a 'Star' into his
plans. This Ceiling shows who he added that element into this
room.

We're probably going to use tile for
surrounding this fireplace insert.
Guest bathroom with proper tub. Not a
fan of acrylic tubs but for occasional
use, this will work. They incorrectly
installed a full tub enclosure, yuk. Luck
we caught this mistake.
As Adrienne calls it, "Gang Plank"
across the upper level. Her 'work' room
is now storage for sheet rock.
One Ham and One Wife. No those are
not our steps, just contractor steps.

Over on the right, Two Hams.......
Left bottom is from Deck to Master
Bedroom. Below is looking towards
rear deck/screened porch.

Below was taking by our cabinet guy, Kirk over at Creative Cabinets in
Shallotte. All hand made, no particle board, gosh...real wood, what a concept.
We're hoping the image is too yellow,
being digital and on a monitor.
Home
Looking nicer every day. Chelsea is
being difficult.
