Meet Tony Page - our builder. Great guy! We went through 9 other builders to
find the master craftsman and pure gentleman. All the other builders were either
downright money grabbers or totally out of line on pricing or just never returned
phone calls. Most common comment we've been getting, when shopping for
appliances, tile, fixtures, and such has been, "Oh you're using Tony, good man!"
He goes through details we've missed, great suggestions and nothing is a
problem. Our architectural board chairman, Peter Naber (who owns the Chrysler
dealership in Shallotte), said, "never seen a job site kept so clean and never
seen framing as perfect." Good recommendation.
Some of Tony's crew. Good guys.
Great craftsman.
Front and rear views. Siding is going up. Shadow
lines don't do this work justice. Much less
variation than what appears. Rear deck is in
place. We were thinking about vynil posts/railings
but after seeing the limited color range and how
they just don't look right, we're staying with
pressure treated woods.

Front door is not placed. Tony needs to fix the
transom. It came about 2" to short.
Master bedroom side
almost finished.
Garage side. Here you can see where the copper roof will be
installed. Right under the dormers. Roofer wants to wait until the
roof work is finished. "Don't want anyone walking on copper.."

Below is 'Guard Dog' giving her expert opinion on color choices.
Probably the upper right paint. This image doesn't
do it justice. Nice color. I like the brighter color, but
both work well. We though of putting a sign up for
neighbors to vote...
Oh this is amazing. I just want some
junk stairs leading up to my
woodworking shop. They are
beautiful...if utility stairs could be
beautiful. Nice two skylights for that
shop. Guess I'll put my work bench
right under those openings.
Left is upstairs guest bedroom. Nice
morning light. Right is the wrong
bathtub. Plumber made this
mistake..thank heavens. They came
and replaced it. Below is looking out
the back via upstairs 'catwalk' as
Adrienne calls that passage area.
