This section is about rebuilding our home. Bought in '91 it was a mess. The back room had one signle 24" double hung window and 24" door. The
ceiling was saging 2" in the center. We sawed off the whole room and rebuilt/enlarged. And so was this whole house. We redid all the electrical,
plumbing, heating, and a/c (I didn't do that part), new windows, doors, cabinets, bookcases, shelves, closets...everything including new hardwood and
tiled floors. Had 3-30 yard and 3-10 yard dumpsters over these past 13 years. What a mess.

Behind the fireplace is a cavity that we stuffed present day
newspapers, magazines, junk mail, tool catalogs, sewing
catalogs, beer cans, McDonald's wrappers. Over the
fireplace mantel was a recessed space for a picture. We
all signed our names in there and sheetrocked over. You
can see that space on the left side just to the right of the
old door.

Top is where we closed a passage from old kitchen and
relocated to right of fireplace. On the left was a door we didn't
know was there until we started removing sheetrock.
I wired two walls for cable, sat. receiver and telephone. Probably
huge overkill since internet is wireless in our house.
